Between homework assignment, field trips, planning lunch, and weekend birthday parties my brain is pretty spent trying to keep it all straight. This school year I decided an official command center was in order!
How to Copy and Paste Multiple Items in One Shot in Windows 10. Windows 10 offers a clipboard history feature that can store multiple items and sync them among different computers. What's new in Clipboard Manager Gadget 2.2.2.2: Fixed the occasional but serious problem with the data storage; Some message boxes showed red cross instead of the content.

To make the clipboard for the command center you will need:
clipboards
adhesive vinyl in Chalkboard (12″x24″), Clover, Cloud White, and Red Hot
scrapbook paper
chalk
twine
adhesive
Apple Silhouette File
Trim chalkboard vinyl to fit the clipboard, approximately 8″x11″. A sheet of 12″x24″ chalkboard vinyl with cover 3 clipboards.
Use a rounded corner punch on the two top corners of the vinyl then apply it to the clipboards. Smooth to remove any air bubbles or wrinkles. “Cure” the chalkboard by rubbing it with chalk then wiping in back off.
Trim the scrapbook paper into 12″x5″ strips to make a pocket along the bottom of the clipboard.
Place scrapbook paper face down on your work surface. Place the clipboard face down on top of the paper, leaving ~1″ of paper showing on each side of clipboard and along the bottom. Fold paper around the clipboard. Apply adhesive (I used Super Sticky Tape) to the bottom of the paper and attach to back of clipboard.
For the sides we need to do a little origami folding.
1. Fold sides over to create a crease.
2. Unfold then fold up the bottom to create a triangle.
3. Pull up inner side of the triangle and cut off.
4. Apply adhesive and fold side back over onto clipboard.
Now to decorate the clipboard! Time to utilize that vinyl.
As well as the 3 sheets of colored vinyl, you will also need some of the chalkboard vinyl scraps. There should be a piece of scrap chalkboard vinyl that is 1″ tall. Cut it into 4″ strips and set aside.
I have provided an apple Silhouette file (see list of materials above) which includes a 3 piece apple die cut as well as the “Things to Remember” text.
Cut out each piece of the file on the coordinating piece of adhesive vinyl.
Piece together the apple like a big sticker by layering the pieces together then applying it to the pocket of the clipboard. Next to the apple add the strip of scrap chalkboard vinyl. “Cure” the chalkboard. I used a chalk pen to create the writing lines to the chalkboard and, once dry, added the name of the person the clipboard is for.
Using a damp cloth, wipe the chalkboard on the clipboard where you will be applying the text so that the chalk dust does not interfere with the adhesion. Apply the text to the top of the chalkboard using transfer vinyl.
Wrap a twine around a piece of chalk and tie off. Attach other end of twine to the top of the clipboard. Be sure the twine is long enough to easily write on the chalkboard.
Hang the clipboards where your new command center will be and start taking notes! You can tuck papers and lunch money into the pocket and in the clipboard. Write reminders on the board. And now, fingers crossed, your life will start running a little more smoothly!
